2. Knowing a variety of species from other regions is also helpful because you will be able identify local flora for medicinal and food uses even if you are in a different region.
3. Seasons make a huge difference in local flora because not all flora grows year round. What local flora is available depends on the season and region you are in.
4. Developing a relationship with local peoples about their plant habitat is significant because they can supply knowledge that otherwise may not be available. Their help can make a huge difference in identifying local flora with food or medicinal uses, and in identifying poisonous species.
5. I would not trust my knowledge of local flora to treat illness or disease because because I have very little of it and I am not confidant in my abilities to successfully identify local flora with medicinal qualities.
